Why We Are Different

(Or be prepared to re-frame your thinking about how to develop your organization and your people)

What we don't do

Fashions, fads or gimmicks. Just because some tool or technique is popular, it doesn't mean it works.

What we dedicate ourselves to

Quite simply, what can be proved to work for our clients. We call it "evidence-based management".

We use Elliott Jaques' Requisite Organization Model as the framework for all our services because it works like nothing else we have found in our 20 years' experience. It is a totally integrated management system. If one aspect of your organization is out of kilter, then it will impact negatively on other areas. The Model pulls everything together using common principles and ensures that all processes pay off in relation to each other. So, no more time and money needs to be wasted on fragmented "initiatives" that may only have limited value.

The Requisite Organization Model is based on rigorous research conducted by Jaques and his colleagues over the past 50 years, based on real work in real organizations in all sectors throughout the world. We are a member of the Global Organization Design Society, an international group of academics, CEOs and consultants dedicated to ongoing research, training and dissemination of Elliott Jaques' work.

Our values and ethics

  • We are honest about what will work for you, not what we think may make us popular.
  • We believe in treating our clients with dignity and respect. In helping you to manage change and difficult transitions we will be truthful but supportive and constructive.
  • Client confidentiality is a given.
  • We provide solutions which are sustainable and testable.
  • We don't fix what isn't broken.
  • We believe that, as a manager, you are accountable for managing your organization and that you should be given all the expertise you need to make you and your people successful. That's why we prefer to transfer knowledge to you during our consultancy projects, so as to reduce over time your reliance on outside expertise. Our in-company training resources aim to achieve that.
